🌄 Day-by-Day Journey Overview

Day 1 – Pallay Punchu Sunset Session

Depart Cusco in the morning, with a scenic stop at the Inca bridge of Checacupe. By early afternoon, you’ll reach the jagged mountain range of Pallay Punchu, overlooking the massive Langui Lake. After time to explore, shoot, and soak in the silence, you’ll return to Sicuani for dinner and a well-deserved rest in a comfortable 3-star hotel.

Day 2 – Sunrise at Vinicunca & Ausangate Stargazing

Start early—your timing will depend on the season—to reach Vinicunca before anyone else. Enjoy complete photographic freedom as the sun climbs over the rainbow ridges. After a hearty meal, head toward Pacchanta, a remote Andean village nestled below Ausangate Glacier. Soak in the natural hot springs, enjoy a home-cooked dinner, and—if the skies are clear—prepare for an incredible astro-photography session under one of Peru’s darkest skies.

Day 3 – The 7 Lagoons Trek

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your trek to the 7 lagoons, with departure time tailored to light, weather, and your pace. Photograph crystal-clear lakes, local shepherds, and snow-capped peaks in near solitude. After lunch, you’ll return to Cusco by late afternoon, with a heart full of stories and a camera full of unforgettable shots.

Tour Location

Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, also known as Montaña de Siete Colores or "Mountain of Seven Colors", is a breathtaking natural wonder located in the Andes of Peru. It is a popular tourist destination and trekking site, known for its vibrant, multicolored peaks. The Rainbow Mountain is part of the Vilcanota mountain range and is approximately 5,000 meters above sea level. The Rainbow Mountain's unique and vibrant colors are the result of mineral deposits, including copper, iron, and other minerals, that have been exposed over time due to erosion. The different colors are easily visible and create a stunning, layered effect. The mountain's colors change with the sunlight, making it even more visually stunning during sunrise and sunset. It is important to note that the Rainbow Mountain is located in a remote and high-altitude area, so it is essential to be prepared for the trek with appropriate gear and supplies. Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain is a truly unique and awe-inspiring destination that is a must-visit for nature lovers, trekkers, and travelers exploring Peru.
