Tour Plan

1
8h00
We begin our tour by picking you up from your hotel or hostel with our private car to begin our drive into the Andes.
2
08h30
Our first stop is at a lesser known viewpoint that gives you a spectacular mountain view. There's a pretty neat spot here that allows for a unique picture in which you can place your subject directly in front of the mountain range in the background (break out the telephoto lens for compression of scale!) We can take this shot for you with you as the subject if you so wish. We explore this location for around 30 minutes before jumping back in the car and moving on.
3
09h00
We make a quick stop in Chinchero to enjoy our breakfast. Try some of the best empanadas in Peru as well as a delicious Andean Muña (mint) tea or a coffee - up to you!
4
09h30
We begin our drive from Chinchero into our secret spot - off the beaten path - where we start our trek.
5
09h45
Enjoy the amazing views of the Andes Mountains 360º before you start your trek through the Andes Mountains and it’s hundreds of potato fields. During the trek you can expect to see different kinds of landscape that allow for a variety of photographic opportunities. There’s always a quechua farmer or a textiles artisan lady on the trek. This is the fun part that any photographer enjoys. You can find a few farmers and artisans or you can find a lot of them. There’s no way of knowing how many people we will meet. Just be sure you’ll find some action and be ready to photograph. This is a great opportunity for documental work and portraits of the Quechua farmers, sheppards and artisans.
6
12h15
Arrival at the Chinchero ruins. Take your time to explore this ancient unique Incan site. The way out to meet our transport goes through the oldest part of town. It’s a beautiful small city with beautiful streets and incan stones.
7
13h00
Quick walk to our Lunch stop and a well deserved break to regain energy.
8
14h00
Hop back in our van and within 10 minutes reach our friends at the Textile Center. At this location you can keep photographing as much as you please. There is also a very interesting cultural part where the locals will teach you how they manipulate the colors to use on their Alpaca wool and produce their textiles. This is all done with Natural Andean products and old traditional ways.
9
15h00
Start the drive back to Cusco. Expected drive time of about 1 hour.
10
16h00
Arrival in Cusco. We will drop you off in your hotel or another location you desire in the city center.
